GRANITE FALLS, NC (October 6, 2018) — The Granite Falls Historical Association will have its 2nd Annual Meeting this coming Tuesday, October 9th in the Granite Falls History and Transportation Museum. We will begin at 7 p.m. with refreshments and registration. We will be accepting dues for 2018 – 2019 from new and renewing members.
After a brief business session, we will have a round table discussion entitled “This Old House.”
During the past year, we sponsored a workshop on writing family stories, and a Hike to the Falls.
We are also in the process of mapping Pinecrest Cemetery and updating our Town’s History Book.
Dues are $12.00 per year for individuals, $18.00 per year for families/couples, and $25.00 per year for organizations (businesses, clubs, etc.)
Members will be given an opportunity at the Annual Meeting to select their preferred activities for 2018 – 2019.
