UPDATED (October 19, 2016)…We received word that the Caldwell County Fire Marshall’s Office is still investigating this fire.
RHODHISS, NC (October 17, 2016)…A residential structure on Hickory Street in Rhodhiss sustained heavy damage after catching on fire Sunday (10-16-2016) night.
When firefighters from the Rhodhiss Fire Department and Granite Falls Fire Department arrived on the scene the structure was fully involved. No injuries were reported.
Fire originated on the front porch of the structure according to officials.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Caldwell County Fire Marshall’s Office. As soon as we receive word about a cause, we will be sure to pass the information along.
