LENOIR, NC (December 9, 2018) — Caldwell County Emergency Services Officials urge citizens to stay home and off the roads due to Winter Storm Diego, unless it is an emergency. So far, Duke Energy has 3831 power outages and Blue Ridge has 659 in Caldwell County. Please prepare for power outages by having blankets/gloves/outerwear close by, batteries/flashlights, non-perishable foods, etc. The safest place during this winter storm is in your home.
