Yadkin Valley Volunteer Fire-Rescue Department awarded grant

LENOIR, NC (May 15, 2018)…YVFR received notification that they have been awarded a 2018 Volunteer Fire Department Fund grant through the N.C. Department of Insurance. The grant totals $15,240 and is a 50/50 matching grant. This will allow them to purchase and replace 6 sets of personal protective firefighting gear to provide the best protection for their members.
