Winners of Shakespeare Monologue competition announced

LENOIR, NC (April 16, 2018)…On Saturday, April 7, 2018, eighteen students competed in the 6th Annual High School Shakespeare Monologue Competition at the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center. The following students received cash awards:

1 – Olivia Stegall, Watauga High School (Watauga County)

2 – Ethan Maheux, South Caldwell High School (Caldwell County)

3 – Lorelai Miller, Harmonic Haven Arts Academy (Caldwell County)

4 – Simone Miller, Harmonic Haven Arts Academy (Caldwell County)

5 – Talia Earl, Honor Academy Home School (Burke County)

6 – Katherine McCoy, Hibriten High School (Caldwell County)

Merit – Mason Smith, Hibriten High School (Caldwell County)

Merit – Annabell Cassidy, Caldwell Early College High School (Caldwell County)

Merit – Victoria Bowman, South Caldwell High School (Caldwell County)

Merit – Lyric Larson – Caldwell Early College High School (Caldwell County)
