Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory welcomes Dr. Brett Wood
HICKORY, NC (February 20, 2018)…Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory (VRHOH), a 24-hour emergency and specialty referral veterinary hospital in western North Carolina, today announced the talented veterinary surgeon Dr. Brett Wood has joined their practice. A board-certified surgeon since 2004, Dr. Wood has a special interest and proficiency in oncologic (cancer) surgery, minimally-invasive surgery (arthroscopy, laparoscopy, and thoracoscopy), and neurosurgery.
With the addition of Dr. Wood to the team, Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory now has three surgeons to meet the needs of the region’s pets for soft tissue, orthopedic, and neurologic surgery. Additionally, our surgeons consult with veterinarians on difficult or complex cases.
