Valentine’s Day that Drug Trafficker will Never Forget
LENOIR, NC (February 14, 2024) ⇒ Sheriff Alan C. Jones announced on February 14, 2024, Narcotic Agents with the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office and Lenoir Police Department made an arrest on a Methamphetamine Trafficker.
Jesse Leighann Schwartz, age 30, of 2811 Hartland Road in Morganton was arrested and charged with multiple counts of Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Vehicle for Controlled Substances. She was placed in the Caldwell Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond.
During the arrest, Narcotics Agents located approximately 214 grams of Methamphetamine, a 9mm handgun and over $5700 in cash. Approximately 300 grams of an unknown pill type was also located. The unknown pills will be analyzed by the State Crime Laboratory to be identified. The drugs seized during the investigation has a total street value of $32,000 according to North Carolina State Drug Guidelines.
