Two band members from HMS and SCHS were selected for the North Carolina All-State Honors Band

HUDSON, NC (May 13, 2018)…Congratulations to Autumn Reaves, 8th grade contra bass clarinet student from Hudson Middle School, and Rachel Masters, 10th grade trumpet student from South Caldwell High School, for being selected for the North Carolina All-State Honors Band. These students went through a rigorous audition process in order to be selected into this honor band and were the only two selected from Caldwell County.

The students participated in a clinic at Chapel Hill University May 4-5, concluding the weekend with a concert at Memorial Hall on May 6th.
