The Tesla Quartet performs “Famous Last Words”

HICKORY, NC (October 18, 2018) — “Famous Last Words” will feature the Tesla Quartet, the Hickory Metro’s String Quartet in Residence.

Enjoy a wonderful evening of exceptional music performed by four exceptional musicians. Chamber Classics II will be held in the Drendel Auditorium at the SALT Block on Saturday, October 27 at 7:30 p.m. This program includes the last compositions written by Beethoven, Villa-Lobos and Britten–or these composers’ “Famous Last Words.”

All tickets are available in advance online at WPSymphony.org/tickets, by calling the office at  (828) 324.8603, or by emailing tickets@wpsymphony.org. Ticket prices for these concerts range from $5-$32. Mini subscriptions are now available. You may also purchase tickets at the door.

The Chamber Classics Series is sponsored by the Friends of the Quartet. If you want to become a “Friend,” just give the office a call.  Western Piedmont Symphony is a grant recipient of the North Carolina Arts Council and a funded affiliate of the United Arts Council of Catawba County.
