GRANITE FALLS, NC (August 29, 2019) — The movie, “Play The Flute” will be shown at Clover Baptist Church on Saturday evening, September 14 at 7 pm and again on Sunday evening, September 15 at 6 pm. Rich Christiano, Christian movie writer, director and producer, carries a heavy burden especially for young people today. Usually, Rich partners with churches to place his films in a local theatre and sell tickets in advance of the showing. This new movie is not available on dvd and can only be viewed in a theatre hosted by a church. Rich has given Pastor Keith permission to host this movie showing at Clover Baptist Church. In the film, a new youth pastor, portrayed by Brett Varvel begins his youth ministry with a heart for the young people in the church where he grew up. His goal is to not only reach these young people with the Gospel but to get them into the Word of God. Expanding on an idea taken from Luke 7:32, he conveys the message that “we are either playing the flute or the flute is being played to us.”
“In a world of indifference, as a pastor, I agree it’s time to Play The Flute. This movie carries a powerful message that is not only relevant for young people today, but for people of every age. I have invited other churches to bring their youth and others to view this movie. All seating is free, and we will also share free ‘movie style’ refreshments. A free will love offering will be received to hopefully enable Rich to pay for the production of this movie and make other Christian movies in the future. We ask that those churches planning to bring groups notify us so we can make sure to have plenty of refreshments prepared.
