Tesla Quartet to perform two concerts in March

HICKORY, NC (February 14, 2017)…Hickory Metro’s Quartet-in-Residence, the Tesla Quartet, will once again perform two concerts in March. The first concert will be in conjunction with the very popular Soup, Salad & Strings luncheon series. For those that prefer a more relaxed concert during the day, the third Soup, Salad & Strings concert will be on Friday, March 3 at 11:45 am in the Keiser Community Room on the SALT Block. This luncheon will be catered by J. McCroskey’s Irish Pub & Grill and Hav-a-Cup. Tickets are $35 for lunch and concert.

The Friends of the Quartet Chamber Classics III concert will be held in the Drendel Auditorium (SALT Block Auditorium) on Saturday, March 4 at 7:30 pm. The quartet will perform selections by Mozart, Puts and Sibelius. Tickets range from $22 to $32. Reception with cash bar follows the concert.
