Special Attention to residents in the Wilson’s Creek & John’s River Communities

LENOIR, NC (September 14, 2018) — Due to the flood potential in the Wilson’s Creek and John’s River areas, Sheriff Jones strongly advises those residents in and around Wilson’s Creek and John’s River to evacuate today……As you know from past weather events, it may be hard for emergency responders to reach you if you have an emergency when there is flooding, trees down etc….please find a safe place to go before Hurricane Florence arrives here. Be safe! Caldwell County Emergency Services has set up a telephone line to call for questions 426-8608.
