HUDSON, NC (February 16, 2017)…Best Wishes to Spartan Squads tonight as they face league leading Freedom in the Northwestern 3A4A Conference Tournament. This is a second round game as the Lady Spartans held on to defeat Saint Stephens by the count of 50-46. Mackenzie Starnes led the way with the game high 21 points along with Lyrec Evans hitting clutch threes in the third period and finished the game with 13 points. The Spartan Men advanced past the first round by winning at Patton, 63-55. Again, we all wish senior Jody Spears a speedy recovery! Go win big in Morganton tonight as well.
