LENOIR, NC (August 7, 2018) — Sounds of Hope 2018 is the second annual event in support of Caldwell County Yokefellow, a faith-based emergency crisis agency in the business of providing Hope to Caldwell County households every day. Quite simply, Yokefellow provides food, clothing, shelter and financial assistance to more than 13,000 households in their database. Since 1969, Yokefellow has provided assistance to those in need and in 2015 added a community based homeless shelter – LEOS – to its list of services provided.
Yokefellow is in the Hope business! But HOPE for 13,000 households carries a significant price tag. This Annual benefit concert will benefit all programs and families served by Yokefellow.
This SOUNDS OF HOPE 20178 concert is being held Saturday, August 18th, beginning at 7pm in the historic Lenoir High School auditorium. The 2018 Voices of Hope are: Strictly Clean & Decent, Donna Minton, Shelby Rae Moore, Tim Greene and Ridgeline, Harper School students Trevor and Bailey Woods. Event Chairperson Scott Pennell will again emcee this event, and will also perform. Admission at the door is $10 donation for Adults, and under 12 years $5.00. Group sales are also being offered, call Yokefellow for those details.
There will also be some Caldwell County favorite refreshments and lemonade available during intermission times.
