Sheriff Jones presented four deputies with awards

LENOIR, NC (March 22, 2019) — On Monday, March 18, 2019, Sheriff Alan C. Jones presented four Deputies of the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office with Advanced Law Enforcement Certificates and Service Awards.  Captain Kevin Bean was awarded with an Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate.  Deputy T.J. Bates was awarded with an Advanced Service Award.  Deputy Aaron Harless and Deputy Mark Sharpe each received an Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate and also received the Advanced Service Award.

In order to receive an Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate a Deputy must complete a combination of years of service along with additional Training to be eligible to receive the Certificate.  The Advanced Service Award is given when a Deputy possess an Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate and has served a minimum of 20 years as a Law Enforcement Officer.
