Section of Harper Street closed Saturday in Lenoir

LENOIR, NC (February 28, 2019) — A section of Harper Avenue between Beall Street and Steel Street will be closed Saturday morning, March 2, 2019, from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. City Public Works staff are removing the old railroad crossing that is no longer in use.

Drivers on West Avenue will detour onto Steel Street to College Avenue to Maple Drive and back onto Harper.

Drivers heading east on Harper Avenue will detour onto Beall Street to College Avenue to Willow Street and back onto Harper.
