HICKORY, NC (March 28, 2024) ⇒ City of Hickory crews will close the intersection of Seventh Avenue NE and Fifth Avenue Place NE on April 8 and 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for tree removal. Detour routes will be established and clearly marked. Please use extreme caution when traveling through or near this intersection to help protect work crews so they can do their job safely and get home to their families each day.
