Obituary for Caleb Joseph Harris of Granite Falls

GRANITE FALLS, NC (April 14, 2017)…Caleb Joseph Harris, 7, of Granite Falls passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 following a brief illness.

He was born December 22, 2009 in Marion County, FL to Daniel Harris of Claremont and Kimberly Watkins Harris of Granite Falls. Caleb attended Christ Church in Mountain View and was a 1st grade student at Granite Falls Elementary School. He enjoyed dancing, video games, basketball, doughnuts, Garfield, minions, Christmas blowups and his dogs.

He is preceded in death by his Great-Grandparents, Joe Kleya, Katherine Patton, Grover Patton; and aunt, Jackie Harris.

A service celebrating Caleb’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11:45 a.m. at Gateway Baptist Church in Newton. Caleb’s Uncle Rev. Jerome Walker will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Hickory. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Gateway Baptist Church.
