New Caldwell County Schools Superintendent to be elected next Monday

LENOIR, NC (May 3, 2018)…The Caldwell County Board of Education will meet in a specially called meeting on Monday, May 7, beginning at 4:00 p.m.

The meeting will take place at 1914 Hickory Blvd. SW in Lenoir, North Carolina.

The purposes of the meeting are as follows:

• Closed session to discuss confidential personnel matters pursuant to G.S. 143-318.11(a)(1), (a)(6), and G.S. 115C-321 and to consult with the board of education attorney and preserve the attorney-client privilege as provided in G.S. 143-318.11(a)(3); and,
• Open session to elect the superintendent.

A reception with light refreshments will be held following the meeting, where Caldwell County School staff and members of the Caldwell County community are invited to meet the new superintendent.
