New apartment complex coming to Granite Falls

GRANITE FALLS, NC (August 24, 2019) — A new 66-unit apartment complex is currently under construction in Granite Falls.

It is located just off Woodlane Street Ext. which is across from Captain’s Galley Seafood.

The complex will consist of five apartment buildings with a community room.

The apartment complex will be operated by United Property Management of Raleigh and will be named the Woodlane Street Apartments.

United Property Management (UPM) is a family-owned, family-operated company that manages quality, affordable housing for families and seniors throughout North Carolina. UPM currently offers over 2,000 rental units across the state.

A representative from United Property Management told us, “We are a tax credit property and considered affordable housing. We are not income-based housing, but income restricted.”

Woodlane Street Apartments will fulfill a vital need in the Granite Falls area for high quality, affordable housing options.

The apartment community offers its residents the following amenities:

  *On-site laundry room

  *Fenced-in playground/Tot Lot

  *Covered picnic area

  *Gazebo

  *Outdoor sitting area with benches

Each apartment is equipped with:

  *Walk-in closet

  *Washer/dryer hook-ups

An open house will be announced at a later date.
