LENOIR, NC (January 03, 2018)…Next weekend, the Lenoir Chapter of the NAACP is hosting several events honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center in Lenoir.
The celebration starts at 9:00 am Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, with a MLK Breakfast at the MLK Jr. Center. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the center. Sunday, Jan. 14, the center will host an Inter Denominational Worship Service at 4:00 pm. Monday, Jan. 15, the NAACP is leading a Memory March starting at 1:00 pm from J.E. Broyhill Park to the MLK Jr. Center, and the MLK Day Program will follow at 2:00 pm at the center.
