Milling to start on North Main in Lenoir next week

LENOIR, NC (February 19, 2018)…Starting Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, the Lenoir City Public Works Department will be milling North Main Street from Ashe Avenue to Conley Place in preparation for resurfacing, weather permitting.

Milling will take approximately three days to complete and resurfacing will follow this spring based on the weather.

On-street parking will NOT be allowed during milling. One lane of North Main will be closed at various times during the project.

Drivers are recommended to avoid the area if possible. Drivers who have to use North Main should use extreme caution in the area and pay attention to workers.
