LOGOLEPSY: An obsession with words

LENOIR, NC (July 28, 2021) — The Caldwell Arts Council is pleased to announce its next public art exhibition, LOGOLEPSY: An Obsession with Words. Featuring the works of Lenoir artist Jenna Bailey, the show opens on August 6, 2021 and runs through September 24, 2021.

Bailey is a local artist and art teacher at Hibriten High School in Lenoir, NC. She holds a BFA in Art Education with a concentration in painting from UNC Greensboro and has taught high school level art for 11 years in Wilkes and Caldwell counties. Originally from Gastonia, NC, Jenna enjoys working in a variety of mediums including watercolor, oil, encaustic, printmaking, and ceramics. Her artwork creates tranquil moods through the use of soft, muted colors, patterns, and layered imagery that focuses on graceful female portraits and natural elements, such as plants and wildlife.

The Caldwell Arts Council is located at 601 College Ave SW in Lenoir, NC, and is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.
