Lenoir-Rhyne University Sigma Kappa Sorority to host 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat

HICKORY, NC (October 31, 2017)…The Epsilon Alpha chapter of Sigma Kappa Sorority at Lenoir-Rhyne University will host their 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat event. This will be a family friendly event for area children to safely trick-or-treat.  This event will take place on October 31, 2017 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the LRU Moretz stadium (football stadium) parking lot. All trunks will be decorated family-friendly style hosted by the various campus organizations on LRU’s campus.  Come join us for a fun and safe way to enjoy the holiday!

Sigma Kappa Sorority was founded in 1874 and its mission is to provide women lifelong opportunities and support for social, intellectual and spiritual development by bringing women together to positively impact our communities. Sigma Kappa Sorority is proud to have existed on the campus of Lenoir-Rhyne University since 1962. The women of the LRU chapter enjoy completing various philanthropic activities in the Hickory area such as volunteering time at area assisted living communities and nursing homes, road side clean-up projects, and raising funds to support Alzheimer’s disease research.
