Lenoir Police Department looking for man involved in assault/shooting

LENOIR, NC (Jun 7, 2018)…On June 6th, 2018 at approximately 6:19 pm the Lenoir Police Department received a call in reference to several individuals engaged in an altercation in the parking lot of 313 Greenhaven Drive, in Lenoir.  The caller advised that the individuals were potentially armed with baseball bats and guns.  Officers arriving on scene located the victim in the parking lot suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  Initial officers used a tourniquet on the victim to render medical aid until first responders arrived on scene.

The individuals involved in this incident were known to each other and the altercation stemmed from an ongoing dispute between the two parties involved.  Mr. Parsons was initially transported to Caldwell United Health Care for non-life-threatening injuries.

Felony warrants have been issued for Marcus Oneal Michaux and this department is diligently working to locate Michaux at this time.

During the beginning stages of the investigation Tammie Michaux was arrested and charged with the above listed charges.  She was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $5,000 secure bond.
