Lenoir City Hall closed for MLK Jr. Day

LENOIR, NC (January 12, 2018)…Lenoir City Hall will be closed Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

City recreation facilities will also be closed, except for the Martin Luther King Jr. Center, which will host a Memory March and MLK Day Program at the center.

MLK Day events also are scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 13 and Sunday, Jan. 14. Visit the MLK Jr. Center page for more information.

Sanitation will not be operating Monday. If a resident’s garbage is normally picked up Monday, it will be picked up Wednesday, Jan. 17. All other household garbage pickups will remain on a normal schedule. The Recycling Center on Pennton Avenue also will be closed Monday.
