The Honorable Robert C. Ervin, Superior Court Judge from Burke County, imposed the active prison term for Ferguson, who will serve the sentence in custody of the North Carolina Division of Adult Corrections.
Investigators with the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office received information that Ferguson was selling methamphetamine and began an investigation. On July 31, 2017, he was seen by deputies driving to the residence of a known drug supplier. When he left the location, a traffic stop was conducted, and methamphetamine was found in the vehicle.
The case was investigated by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office ICE Unit and prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Andrew Jennings.
