Honda Powerhouse Dealership in Granite Falls coming together

GRANITE FALLS, NC (December 16, 2017)…The new Honda Powerhouse Dealership in Granite Falls is moving closer to opening.  The owners were hoping for a soft opening in late January but have told us that mid-February is becoming more likely.

Honda of North Carolina Construction – Update December

The dealership will be selling motorcycles, side by sides, ATV’s, scooters, lawn mowers, generators, tillers, water pumps, small to mid-size outboard motors and used units.  They will also service all Honda units as well as competitive makes.

They have received over 50 applications for employment just from word of mouth.  Visit their facebook page and website for updates on employment opportunities.  The dealership looks to employ somewhere between 14 – 18 full and part time employees and hopes to grow by mid-summer to somewhere around 20.  Positions will be sales, service, parts, support and office.

They are thrilled with the outpouring of support in the communities in and around Granite Falls.  The dealership is looking to support the community of riders and people who would like to learn.  Jeff Carr of Honda of North Carolina stated, “We are a family owned business and if is our desire to be a core retail partner in the community, county and state.  As a Honda Powerhouse dealership, we are all Honda all the time!  There are only 42 Powerhouse dealerships in the United States and as a Powerhouse we have some advantages and requirements that are unique to the concept.”
