Holiday Pops! Nutcracker Ball set

HICKORY, NC (October 26, 2016)…Kick off the holiday season with Western Piedmont Symphony’s Holiday POPS! Nutcracker Ball. Enjoy the unique sounds of Christmas as the Hickory Jazz Orchestra performs Duke Ellington’s jazzy version of the “Nutcracker Suite.” The Caldwell Men’s Chorus will open the evening with wonderful holiday music.

This fun, fund-raising event for the symphony will be held Saturday, November 19 at J.E. Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir. Start the evening off at 6 pm with a bountiful buffet with dinner music by the “Just Friends Jazz” trio. The concert begins at 7:30 pm. Following the concert, there will be a dessert reception and you can dance the night away with the big band sound of the Hickory Jazz Orchestra.
