Hickory Day School Hosts Last Admissions Open House for the 2017-2018 School Year
HICKORY, NC (March 1, 2017)…Hickory Day School has announced March 15 as their final Enrollment Open House for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year. Parents of prospective students will be treated to a campus tour led by 8th Grade Student Ambassadors, and an open Q&A session with our Head of School, Dr. Rick Seay. The session is from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., and participants may drop in at any time during those hours. You may register for the open house online at hickoryday.org, or by calling the school office at 828-256-9492. If you are unable to attend this Open House, but wish to learn more about our unique learning environment, you are welcome to call the office to set up a private tour.
We are happy to announce that the results of our CTP4 standardized test scores surpass the national averages for both independent schools and suburban schools, in all grades and all subjects, consistent with results from previous years. Additionally, 87% of all eligible students (4th – 7th grades) qualified for the prestigious Duke University Talent Identification Program (Duke TIP).
