Granite Falls Police Department arrests four individuals

GRANITE FALLS, NC (March 18, 2019) — The Granite Falls Police Department served a search warrant at 72 Archer Street, Granite Falls which resulted in the arrest of four individuals.

On March 18, 2019 at approximately 3:52pm, the Granite Falls Police Department executed a search warrant in an attempt to locate Marcus Alan Rudisill, 31, of 72 Archer Street, Granite Falls. Marcus was wanted because he had two orders for arrest for failing to appear on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, resisting a public officer, and driving while license revoked. After an extensive search of the residence, Marcus was located in the ceiling. Marcus was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $1,500 cash bond and a $1,500 secured bond. During the service of the search warrant several other individuals were also located who were wanted.

Coty Alan White, 20, of Villa Hill Lane, Lenoir was arrested for failure to appear on charges of speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia out of Watauga County. Coty was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $300 secured bond.

Brittany Danielle Sain, 28, of 72 Archer Street, Granite Falls was arrested for failing to appear on charges of misdemeanor larceny in Caldwell County. Brittany was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $2,000 secured bond.

And, Lucas William Smith, 17, of 412 North First Avenue, Maiden was arrested on a warrant for larceny of a firearm and possession of stolen goods out of Burke County and failure to appear on a charge of assault in Caldwell County. Lucas was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a combined $10,500 secured bond. Lucas originally gave officers a different name.

According to Chief Chris Jenkins, “Nice work by everyone. People were found hiding in the bed, HVAC vent, and ceiling. The Granite Falls Fire Department had to lend us a hand to get in the attic. The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office also assisted us. Great team work!”
