Granite Falls native making waves at Ohio Northern University

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH (November 9, 2019) — Granite Falls native and South Caldwell High School graduate Marissa Taylor is a member of the Ohio Northern University Polar Bears Swim Team.

Below are Marissa’s results from a recent meet at the Calvin (Mich.) Quad at the Venema Aquatic Center at Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan that took place on the 8th and 9th of November.

The 800 free relay team of Schauer, Starkey, junior Marissa Taylor (Granite Falls, N.C./South Caldwell), and sophomore Karli Katterle (Rocky River) placed sixth in 8:39.73.

Marissa Taylor added a sixth-place finish in the 200 back, touching in 2:16.96.
