LENOIR, NC (September 21, 2021) — The City of Lenoir Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a free boys baseball clinic and free girls softball clinic next week in Lenoir. Appalachian State University and Caldwell Community College coaches and players are instructing.
The Baseball Clinic is open to 2nd through 8th grade boys. It will be held Wednesday, Sept. 29, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm at Mulberry Recreation Center. Appalachian State University coaches and players are instructing the baseball clinic.
The Softball Clinic is open to 1st through 6th grade girls. It will be held Thursday, Sept. 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Optimist Park Fields across from Mulberry Recreation Center. Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute coaches and players will instruct the softball clinic.
Participants will need cleats/tennis shoes, glove, bat, helmet, and water bottle. No registration is required. Just show up ready to play!
