Fatz Southern Kitchen Thanks Teachers by Offering Half Price Meals to Teachers in August

LENOIR, NC (August 2, 2018) — Fatz Southern Kitchen is offering teachers a 50% discount from August 1-31 to thank educators during the back-to-school season.

Any teacher that dines in-restaurant with Fatz for either lunch or dinner will receive 50% off of his or her meal. To redeem, teachers need only mention the offer to their server and present school identification, such as a school I.D. badge.

“Often, teachers dig in their own pockets to purchase supplies. Now, Fatz gives back to teachers with delicious food at half price,” said CEO Jim Mazany. “This is a small way to say thank you for all that teachers do for our communities. It also fits our year-long 30th anniversary celebration, focused on giving back to our guests and the communities we serve.”

Fatz will additionally give all school personnel $25 off catering and ToGo orders of $100 or more for the entire month of August.

Fatz offers fundraising opportunities to support schools, teachers, clubs, sports teams and PTAs. These fundraisers include Pancake Breakfasts and Chicken for Charity events, where tickets are sold, and proceeds split with the organization, as well as Spirit Night events where 10%-20% of sales go back to the organization.

To spread the word about these programs, Fatz offers Tea & Cookie Drop-ins at schools in its communities. A Fatz representative sets up a complimentary tea & cookie station at the school’s front office for teachers to visit and learn more about programs that support local schools. Principals and administrators can schedule these by emailing marketing@fatz.com
