Duke Street/US321A realignment project in Granite Falls moving forward

GRANITE FALLS, NC (June 14, 2018)…The Duke Street/US321A (Hunter Creek Lane Ext.) realignment project in Granite Falls just finished up the “right of ways” and will be letting the project next month with the hope that work can begin in August according to the NCDOT.  This new road will be lined up with Short Street and will have a signal on South Main Street just above the New City BBQ.  And, as you may already know, a roundabout on Duke Street.  Also, it appears that utility poles have already been re-positioned along South Main Street (US321A) to make way for the new road.
