HICKORY, NC (March 1, 2017)…The Hickory Crawdads promotional calendar includes three Meet-N-Greets this season, with Luke Pell, Dale Murphy and Dan Severn all scheduled to appear at L.P. Frans Stadium.
Fans who purchase Meet-N-Greet tickets will be treated to a special pre-game, private event that includes the opportunity to meet, take a photo with, and receive autographs from the celebrity. The Meet-N-Greet ticket also includes a meal voucher, a reserved ticket for that night’s Crawdads game, and an automatic entry into a drawing to win a special prize package, including the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch that night.
Luke Pell will highlight Ladies Night on Saturday, April 29th with the Meet-N-Greet beginning at 4pm. Pell, a country singer-songwriter, is best known for capturing hearts across America on Season 12 of ABC’s hit television show The Bachelorette. For $22, fans will receive a rose from The Bachelorette contestant himself, a printed 5×7 photo of Pell, and an opportunity to take part in a Q&A. All fans who purchase a Meet-N-Greet will be automatically entered to win a Rock Barn package which includes: 3 days and 2 nights in a Stay and Play Townhome, 15% off spa services, and 18 holes on the Tom Jackson Course.
Saturday, June 10th at 4pm will mark the return of Dale Murphy to L.P. Frans Stadium. For $25, fans will have exclusive, private time with the former Major Leaguer and will be automatically entered to win four tickets to the Texas Rangers vs. Atlanta Braves game on September 5th at SunTrust Park. Dale Murphy is a 2-time NL MVP and 7-time All-Star. Over his 18-year career, the former Atlanta Brave collected five Gold Glove Awards and four Silver Slugger Awards.
UFC Night on Saturday, July 8th will feature Dan Severn with the Meet-N-Greet beginning at 5pm. For $22 fans will receive a 5×7 printed photo of Severn and an automatic entry into a drawing to win a signed copy of his book “The Realest Guy in the Room: The Life and Times of Dan Severn” as well as a signed, framed poster. In addition to being a UFC Hall-of-Famer, Severn is a UFC Superfight Champion as well as the only UFC Triple Crown Champion. He also has two National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) Championship Belts and is the first and only man to hold an MMA and professional wrestling championship simultaneously.
