Congratulations Tesla Quartet

HICKORY, NC (September 6, 2016)…Way to go Tesla! The Western Piedmont Symphony is extremely pleased to announce that our quartet in residence, the Tesla Quartet, won 2nd place in the world renowned Banff International String Quartet competition. This is a major honor and accomplishment for the quartet. You, too, can experience their excitement and talent in their first concert of the season. Friends of the Quartet Chamber Classics I will be held at the Drendel Auditorium (SALT Block Auditorium) on Saturday, September 17 at 7:30 PM. At the door tickets range from $22 to $32.

Can’t make the evening performance– join the Tesla Quartet for lunch at our very popular Soup, Salad & Strings luncheon series at 11:45 am in the Keiser Community Room on Friday, September 16 at the SALT Block. Tickets are $35 each.
