Collettsville PTO to sponsor Donkey Basketball Game

COLLETTSVILLE, NC (March 16, 2017)…The funniest and wildest show on earth is coming to Collettsville School on Saturday, April 1st! The Collettsville PTO is excited to announce they will be sponsoring a donkey basketball game! You will be absolutely delighted as donkeys of Professional Animal Frolics attempt to rid themselves of their riders during the ballgame. The thrills, laughter, and surprises never end at a donkey ballgame!

You will see your neighbors, friends and just maybe your teacher attempt to ride donkeys that are specially trained for the game. Some have not been ridden very far even after hundreds of attempts.

The entire ballgame will be filled with comedy. During halftime, you will have an opportunity to get your picture taken while on a donkey, attempt to make a half-court shot, and other activities to be announced. This is one production that you will want to bring the entire family to see!

Advanced sale prices (Adults $6; Children $5) will begin on Monday, March 13th and will run through Friday, March 31st. Tickets will be available each morning from 7:45 – 8:00 in the cafeteria. Prices will be (Adults $8; Children $6) at the door. BBQ plates and concessions will be available starting at 5:00pm. Game time is 7:00pm. We are looking forward to this big event and hope to see you all on April 1st!
