HUDSON, NC (October 14, 2016)…Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute celebrated 17 students from the Caldwell Campus Truck Driver Training program during a completion ceremony on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir.
The participating students included, pictured from left to right: (front row) Jeff Hodnett of Knoxville, Tenn., Melvin Araya of Newton, Sandra Adams of Miller’s Creek, Dana Blevins of Wilkesboro, Johnny Vanhoy of Roaring River, Raymond Moses of Morganton and Bobby Moxley Jr., of Wilkesboro. (back row) Travis Holsclaw of Hickory, Derrick Coleman of Hudson, Bobby Denton of Hickory, Roberto Ramirez of Hickory, Brandon Whisnant of Hickory, Al Smith of Hickory, David Beane of Gamewell, Lincoln Clawson of Lenoir and Betty Jean Sprayberry of Lenoir. Not pictured, but a participant in the course completion ceremony, was Jordan Johnson.
The next Truck Driver Training classes for the Caldwell Campus in Hudson start Jan. 4 (day class), Jan. 27 (weekend class) and Feb. 6 (evening class). CCC&TI Truck Driver Training classes also are available in Gaston, Iredell, Richmond, Rowan, Rutherford, Union and Yadkin counties. Tuition assistance is available for those who qualify.
