CCC&TI Announces New Computed Tomography Course

HUDSON, NC (July 3, 2019) — To improve training and career opportunities for radiography and nuclear medicine professionals, Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute will launch a new Computed Tomography program on the Caldwell Campus in Hudson.

The program provides the education and clinic experience for a registered technologist in radiography, nuclear medicine or radiation therapy to pursue post primary certification in computed tomography. To qualify, applicants must have a primary certification in Nuclear Medicine or Radiography.

The online component (CAT 7000) begins Aug. 15 and costs $180. The clinical component (CAT 7001) begins Sept. 16 and costs $402, which includes radiation monitor, background check, drug screen and immunization. Both courses finish on May 4, 2020.
