Cataloochee Ski Area Snow Report for Wednesday, January 4, 2017

MAGGIE VALLEY, NC (January 4, 2017)…Cataloochee Ski Area SNOW REPORT for January 4, 2017.

Date: 1/4/2017 Time: 8am Weather: 50 degrees

Today will be skiing from the midstation down on four slopes with 2 aerial lifts and one conveyor lift operating on a base of 10-24” and machine groomed surface.

We will offer three sessions of skiing , day skiing from 9am until 4:30pm, twilight skiing from 1pm until 10pm and night skiing from 6pm until 10pm with a morning or afternoon half day rate also available. Holiday rates are in effect through Friday, December 30.

Tube World located in Maggie Valley, across from Ghost Town in the Sky, four miles from the ski area is on its regular operating schedule of Thursday through Sunday and will reopen on Thursday, January 5 at 4pm.

Our rental shop in Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski & Sports, is open daily. Be sure to stop there for your discounted rentals and all accessories you might need prior to your day on the slopes.

We remind you to be aware of changing ski conditions and use caution. Natural and manmade obstacles exist and snowmaking and grooming activities are routinely in progress. Please use control and ski or ride only on designated slopes and trails and please call this number anytime for current skiing conditions.
