Cast of Hudson Dinner Theatre Spring Production “Farce of Nature” announced

HUDSON, NC (January 24, 2017)…The cast is announced for the Town of Hudson’s 23rd Dinner Theatre Production, the comedy, “Farce of Nature.” The play is set in an Arkansas Fishing Lodge. The action takes place in one day as we meet D. Gene and his wife Wanelle, the proprietors. Wanelle has romance on her mind, while Gene is concerned about revitalizing the Inn. His sister, Maxie, a retired law enforcement officer, is in charge of taking care of a gangster in transition to the Witness Protection Program. The gangster from whom he is hiding shows up and a series of mistaken identity, cross dressing and hilarity ensue. “Farce of Nature” will be presented Thursday through Saturday, March 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th, 31st and April 1st at the Hudson Uptown Building, (HUB), 145 Cedar Valley Road in Hudson. Tickets go on sale Monday, February 6th. Reservations can be made by going to the HUB Box Office or by calling 726-8871. The cast consists of Stephen Starnes (D. Gene Wilburn), Angie Warren (Wanelle Wilburn), Carolyn Icard (Maxie Suggs), Tera Enloe (Jenna Sealy), Adam Lowery (Carmine DeLuca), Nick Chamberlain (Ty Wilburn), Emma Lee Kurts (Lola Barbosa), Doug McCowan (Sonny Barbosa) and Briana Adhikusuma (Roxanne Thorpe). The play is written by the comedy team of Jones, Hope and Wooten and is produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service. The show is sponsored by McCreary Modern.
