CALDWELL COUNTY, NC (January 23, 2018)…Dear Friends, This is a time of reflection on 2017 and great anticipation on what the new year will bring. Some of us are making resolutions – some we will keep, some we won’t. Others are cleaning out closets and rooms – to make room for new things. One thing that will always remain the same is Caldwell Pregnancy Care Center’s dedication to sharing God’s love with every person that walks through our doors. We see every person as a divine appointment from God, and we take it as an opportunity to share Him.
We share God with the woman who comes through our doors scared and upset in the midst of a crisis pregnancy and looking for options. She will be treated with loving, non-judgmental care while being shown the truth of the life growing in her womb. We will express to her how her life is very precious to us and, most importantly, to Jesus Christ who died on the cross so that she can have everlasting life with Him. Through love we will help her navigate through a hard situation. We will help her see the blessing a baby could be. Whether she chooses to parent and be blessed herself by this precious baby, or if she chooses to place her baby in the loving arms of a couple and blesses them – we will treat her with the love God so graciously gives to us all. And if she chooses to make the decision of abortion, after we have shown her the spiritual, physical and emotional consequences that comes along with that decision, we will love her through the aftermath and point her to a God who heals all hurts.
We share God with the man who comes through our doors overwhelmed with the new role of pending fatherhood. He will receive guidance and practical advice from our male mentors who have walked the road of fatherhood themselves and know the power of God. These Godly men can share with this young man, from their own experience and God’s Word, how he can navigate the road ahead. They sit at our kitchen table and talk about budgeting, supporting their baby’s mom during pregnancy and after, and how by allowing God to be the head of their home they will live a more fulfilling life and be the best father to their precious baby.
We equip a man and woman who comes through our doors who have experienced God’s mighty power in their own lives by showing them how to share it with others. These servants are willing to open themselves up and be transparent with our clients and share how God has worked in their own lives and, thus, can work in theirs too – if given the chance. They give hours of their time every week for no other reward than knowing that they have made a difference in someone’s life for the Kingdom of God. These warriors for Christ pray fervently for their clients and pour into the lives of those they minister to in Christ’s name here at CPCC.
In this new year, I am looking forward to the stories that will be made within the ministry walls. Stories of salvations, stories of babies whose lives have been saved and stories from volunteers who came here to help someone else and realized that their own life has been enriched by those they served.
