Caldwell Hospice Offers Support for Grieving Spouses
LENOIR, NC (July 3, 2019) — The death of a spouse can leave the survivor feeling empty, confused, and vulnerable. Ashewood Grief and Counseling Services of Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care will offer an opportunity to understand your grief process, receive support from others who are coping with similar situations and share your experiences and insights. Support for Grieving Spouses, a five-week support group for men and women who have lost a spouse at any age, will meet on Tuesdays, August 13, to September 10, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at Ashewood Grief and Counseling Services, 1002 Ashe Avenue, Lenoir, NC. Caldwell Hospice Bereavement Support Specialist Julie Holman, MA, NCC, LPCA, will facilitate the support group.
Caldwell Hospice is committed to providing grief support services to anyone who needs and wants help in coping with their grief, including those with no hospice affiliation. This support group is one of many grief services made possible through the generous support of the community.
