LENOIR, NC (January 24, 2017)…In recognition of Black History Month, the next Coffee With the Curator program at the Caldwell Heritage Museum will be on Wednesday, February 8th, 10 am, at the Museum situated at 112 Vaiden Street SW in Lenoir, North Carolina. The program, “Lenoir Through the Eyes of 8 Decades” will be presented by the Reverend Jimmie Norwood who will discuss the many changes in the people, places, and social fabric of Lenoir during his 8 decades living here. The Rev. Norwood is a retired Baptist minister active in community affairs all his life, and a Korea Conflict era veteran of the US Army. A special display “A Tribute to Freedman High School” will be up for viewing until the end of February, as well.
