CALDWELL COUNTY, NC (July 24, 2018) — Several teams from Caldwell County will be participating in the 2018 Tar-Heel Leagues State Tournament in Hickory beginning on Thursday July 26th. Games will finish up in the Championship round on Sunday July 29th. Games will be played at Kiwanis Park and Highland Recreation Center at Stanford Park.
Teams from the county participating are: Granite Falls 8u, Caldwell County 8u (comprised of Kings Creek Baseball players), Caldwell County 10u (comprised of Kings Creek Baseball, Gamewell Optimist, Collettsville Park, Sawmills Optimist and South Caldwell Optimist players), and Lenoir.
Opening ceremony will be held at LP Frans Stadium on Thursday July 26 at 1:00

In 8u… Granite Falls will play Princeton on Thursday at 4:00 at Kiwanis Park field 1, then Caldwell County will play Rolesville on Thursday at 5:30 at Kiwanis Park field 2
In 10u… Caldwell County will play Williamston on Thursday at 6:00 at Kiwanis Park field 4
In 12u… Lenoir will play South Johnston on Thursday at 6:00 at Stanford Park field 1
In 15u… Lenoir will play Hickory on Thursday at 4:00 at Stanford Park field 2
