LENOIR, NC (December 5, 2017)…On November 9, 2017, the Lenoir Police Department began an investigation for physical assault by a teacher at William Lenoir Middle School. After several weeks of investigation by Detectives of the Lenoir Police Department, the case was heard by the Grand Jury in Caldwell County on December 4, 2017. Indictments were returned by the Grand Jury for Three (3) counts of Felony Indecent Liberties with a Child. On today’s date, Justin Biggs was arrested on these charges and placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $150,000 secure bond for this agency’s charges. Due to the sensitive nature of this investigation, ages of victims, case integrity, and respect for the victims and families involved; this Department will release no victim information of any kind.
