Caldwell County storm update

CALDWELL COUNTY, NC (October 27, 2017)…Citizens in the unincorporated areas of Grace Chapel Road should make sure that any company they hire to cut up fallen trees or other debris on their property, arranges for that company to haul off the debris as well.   Otherwise, the resident will have to haul off the debris to the landfill on their own. Caldwell County WILL NOT be hauling off debris from the sides of the road. The County is not equipped to haul off debris.

The American Red Cross will be at Grace Chapel Fire Department on the Grace Chapel Road, tomorrow, Saturday, October 28 for the Grace Chapel Annual BBQ. Four case workers will be on hand to help storm victims find resources for any needs they may have. They will also be handing out bulk items to help with the cleanup, including tarps, rakes, garbage bags and work gloves.
