32-year-old Carrie Elizabeth Gross of 1375 Bradford Mountain Road, Lenoir, was reported missing by her husband around 10 a.m. today. She was last seen around 2 a.m., Sunday, December 11 at their home. Her husband told investigators that she has left before but usually returned in a day or two.
Investigators are unsure about potential foul play at this time. Ms. Gross did not take her own vehicle when she left. She is described as five feet and five inches (5’5”) tall and weighing 140 pounds. (See attached photo) Her husband stated she was likely wearing silver and purple Sketcher shoes, as those shoes are missing as well.
A Silver Alert is regarding a person that has been diagnosed with physical or mental ailments.
