DUDLEY SHOALS, NC (December 7, 2017)…On Tuesday, December 5th, 2017, around 1523 hrs, a patrol deputy with the Caldwell County Sheriff’s office, who lives in the Dudley Shoals community, was outside of his house and off duty when he heard 2 gunshots. A small black car, looked to have primer, 2 door, with silver wheels sped away. The deputy’s house was hit by the bullets. No one was injured.
